How do you get inspired and generate ideas for furniture pieces? Do you believe in exclusivity when it comes to each furniture piece?Įkant Singh: As I have mentioned, I travel a lot and, on the go, I observe, think, and collect materials and bring them back to the studio to make unique furniture pieces. I want to live my passion as that is my true self. I want to follow such people and come up with my own creations. The business of furniture designing and styling for me is my passion.
The norm is to copy design ideas or buy furniture from the market but, there are very few interior designers who design original furniture pieces. How did you get into the business of furniture designing and styling?Įkant Singh: I always wanted to become a furniture designer. Moreover, as a traveller, I keep exploring new places that give me some unique perspectives and help me widen my horizons. We also do a lot of experimentation with different ideas and ensure we use natural materials such as wood, Italian marble, semi-precious stone, as well as leather. We also give a 10-year warranty on the structure. What is unique about your brand?Įkant Singh: Our design ideas and quality of work are hardly comparable. as these will together define your space. You should keep 30% of the total cost of the project for furniture, accessories, artwork, etc. What defines your style when it comes to furniture and designs?Įkant Singh: The furniture budgeting should be done right and you must follow the 70-30 formula.
